I walked everywhere within Vientiane and Luang Prabang to get to the sights and eateries. Unlike the roads of Thailand or Vietnam, Laotians do not honk all the time, and there are proper pedestrian crossings.
Best Time to Visit Laos
The dry and cool months of November to January are generally the best period to travel in Laos. Daytime temperatures are agreeable, though early mornings and late nights can be a little chilly.
Bo Y Border Gate
